About La Lucha Community Scholarship

La Lucha Community Scholarship was created in 2023 for disadvantaged students that are directly impacted by lack of resources and finances that often times create obstacles and make it extremely challenging to arrive to their college to start their first semester that they worked so hard to attend. Witnessing the significant hurdles these students face in embarking on their college journey, the founder envisioned a solution to bridge that gap that often impedes their path to higher education. In under served communities, the resources available for aspiring college students are often scarce, leaving them to navigate a labyrinth of challenges in pursuit of their academic dreams. Many find themselves grappling with financial burdens that loom large even before their first day on campus, posing formidable barriers that threaten to derail their aspirations.

By alleviating the financial burdens, La Lucha Community Scholarship  not only facilitates their journey to college but also nurtures their potential, ensuring that they enter the academic arena with the support and resources they need to thrive.
