La Lucha Las Vegas Community Scholarship

Students will be able to apply for the 2025-2026 award starting on February 15, 2025. The deadline to submit applications is April 30, 2025.

The La Lucha Las Vegas Community Scholarship will award $1,000 scholarships to help students with their transition to college. These funds can be used for expenses such as:

• Airfare
• Moving costs
• Deposits for college housing
• Dorm room items (e.g., sheets, blanket, pillow, etc.)

Often, families and students are unprepared or unaware of the additional funding needed to support travel and transition costs for college. These scholarships are designed to bridge that gap and will be disbursed prior to the student’s arrival at their college in the fall.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:

• Must be currently enrolled and graduating from a local Las Vegas High School for the 2024/2025 school year.
• Must have received an acceptance letter and/or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university for Fall 2025.
• Must be a part of a minority and/or LGBTQI community.

Additional requirements and details will be provided in the 2024-2025 application, available on February 15, 2025.
