La LuchA Community Scholarship

Scholarship Details

The La Lucha Community Scholarship will award scholarships to help students with their transition to college. These funds can be used for expenses such as:

  • Airfare
  • Moving costs
  • Deposits for college housing
  • Dorm room items (e.g., sheets, blanket, pillow, etc.)

Often, families and students are unprepared or unaware of the additional funding needed to support travel and transition costs for college. These scholarships are designed to bridge that gap and will be disbursed prior to the student’s arrival at their college in the fall.

Student Eligibility Requirements for 2026-2027

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:

  • Must be currently enrolled and graduating from a United States of America High School for the 2025/2026 school year.
  • Must have received an acceptance letter and/or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university for Fall 2026.
  • Must be a part of a minority, LGBTQI community and/or a DACA recipient.
